Frequently Asked Questions

What is Riskly?

Riskly calculates a personalized, AI-powered risk score for activities you enter. You can build a baseline from optional demographics, log activities, run daily check-ins, and view detailed breakdowns, worst-case scenarios, and your history over time.

Is Riskly medical or safety advice?

No. Riskly provides statistical estimates for entertainment and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical, legal, insurance, financial, or safety advice, health predictions, diagnoses, or real-world guarantees. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.

How accurate are the risk scores?

Scores are estimates generated from generalized data combined with automated reasoning. They may be inaccurate or incomplete, and some activities may be more or less risky than displayed. Treat them as a fun, informative starting point — not a fact.

Do I have to enter personal information?

No. Demographics and lifestyle inputs are optional. They help personalize your baseline estimate, but you can use Riskly without them, and you can edit or delete them at any time.

How do AI credits work?

AI features are metered by credits. You get a free allowance that refreshes weekly. You can also buy additional credit packs as one-time purchases. Purchased credits don’t expire and stay in your balance; free weekly credits don’t roll over. When you run out, AI features pause until your free credits refresh or you top up.

What subscription plans are available?

Riskly offers a weekly and a monthly auto-renewing subscription, each starting with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you don’t cancel first.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → SubscriptionsRiskly → cancel. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Will I be charged after the free trial?

Yes — if you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically starts and you’re charged for the plan you selected. You can cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Riskly → Settings → Restore Purchases. This restores your subscription and any credit packs associated with your Apple ID.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. AI credits are non-refundable except where required by law or App Store policy.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in, it’s also backed up to a secure cloud provider so you can restore it on another device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Open Riskly → Settings → Delete all data. This erases your activities, demographics, and saved logs and resets the app.

What data is sent for AI features?

When you use AI features, the activity names and answers you provide are sent to third-party AI providers through a secure gateway to generate estimates and scenarios. Your email, precise identity, and contact details are not sent as part of that request.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Riskly.
