This Privacy Policy describes how Gross Out Diet (“we”, “us”, “the app”) handles information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information we collect

Stored on your device only:

Food logs, cravings, Resist Points, streaks, Grossify credits, and app settings.

Processed when you use the G.O. Coach or Grossify camera:

The text and any image you send to the coach, or the photo you Grossify, is transmitted to our AI provider to generate a response or image. We do not store these messages or images on our servers.

Collected by third parties:

Apple App Store / Google Play: purchase receipts for the paid app and any in-app credit packs.
RevenueCat: purchase status tied to an anonymous app user ID.
Crash and performance logs (if enabled by the platform).

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or health data.

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated user ID, device identifiers, and purchase history to provide and improve purchase functionality. RevenueCat does not sell personal data. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/

2. How we use information

To provide core app features (logging, streaks, coaching, Grossify camera).
To validate and restore in-app purchases.
To diagnose crashes and improve stability.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Purchases

Gross Out Diet is a one-time paid app — there are no subscriptions and nothing auto-renews. You may optionally buy one-time Grossify credit packs as in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your card details. Purchased credits do not expire.

We share limited data only with the service providers needed to run the app:

Apple / Google (payments)
RevenueCat (purchase management)
Our AI inference provider (only the prompt or image you send to the G.O. Coach or Grossify camera)

These providers are bound by their own privacy terms.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your logs, streaks, and credits remain on your device until you delete them via Settings → Delete All Data or uninstall the app. To request deletion of any server-side purchase record, email us at the address below.

6. Children

Gross Out Diet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
