LucidSkill has no accounts and no sign-up. Your created skills, saved skills, session settings and voice recordings are stored on your device only — Focuser LLC cannot see them, and they are never uploaded to us. The only personal-ish data involved is the anonymous purchase information your app store and our subscription provider need in order to know that your subscription is active.
We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, contacts, photos, precise location, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not require an account, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
The following is written to your device’s local storage and stays there: Lucid Skills you create, skills you save, your session settings and presets, your tutorial and disclaimer acceptance record, appearance preferences such as Night Mode, and any voice recordings you make. You can erase all of it at any time with ‘Delete all data’ in Settings, or by deleting the app.
If you choose to record a vocal reinforcement loop, the app asks for microphone permission and records only while you hold or start a recording. Recordings are saved to your device’s local app storage and are used solely to play back during your own sessions. They are not transmitted to us, not used for training any model, and not shared with anyone. Deleting the recording, or using ‘Delete all data’, removes it from your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, never by us — we never see or store your payment card, billing address, or store account credentials. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status, which receives a randomly generated app user ID, your purchase receipt, and basic technical data such as platform, app version and store country. This tells us only whether an active subscription exists. Apple’s and Google’s own handling of your purchase is governed by their privacy policies.
Session soundscapes, video loops and imagery are streamed from our content delivery network as you use the app. Like any internet request, that involves your device’s IP address and standard technical request data, which the delivery network processes to serve the file, protect against abuse, and keep the service reliable. These logs are not used to identify you or to build a profile.
LucidSkill contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no ad tracking. We do not sell, rent or trade any information about you, and we do not share data for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or sites, the app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
LucidSkill is intended for adults 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app on your device, use ‘Delete all data’ in Settings to erase everything stored on it.
On-device data is retained until you delete it, either individually, with ‘Delete all data’ in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. Subscription records held by our subscription provider and your app store are retained by them as required for billing, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because your content stays on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly and instantly in the app — ‘Delete all data’ in Settings erases everything held about your use of it. For anything relating to subscription records, email info@focuserllc.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You will never be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
On-device data sits in the app’s private storage area, protected by your device’s operating system and, where you enable it, your device passcode and encryption. Connections to our content delivery network and subscription provider use encrypted HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your device updated and locked.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will appear here with a new date, and where the change affects your consent you will be asked to review it in the app. Continuing to use LucidSkill after an update means you accept the revised policy.
